This is one of the actual dresses we loaned to Jacqueline West to use in the Terrence Malick film, The Tree of Life. This dress was worn by Jessica Chastain in some iconic scenes in the film, including the floating scenes, and the ocean scenes. I've included a few images of Jessica wearing the dress and have left the "Mrs. O" tag on the dress that was put there by the costume department. I loaned many pieces to the movie and have decided to part with this one!

This dress originally came from a prominent estate that had many important pieces from designers including, Claire McCardell, Mollie Parnis, Clare Potter, and Ceil Chapman dresses, but this dress has no label remaining.

The dress buttons up the front with mother of pearl buttons and has a pretty fabric belt. This dress is in excellent condition! I would estimate it to be a modern day size 4.
